I'll try and make this as short as possible,1996 was convicted of 2nd degree kidnapping, did 4yrs,3months,was paroled in 2000.That was the first and last time i was ever in trouble with the law. It's been 11yrs now that ive been out,i put in for a pardon early this year and was denied.Unbelievable!I have great family and friends that would testify to my character.I have a cdl b with hazmat and tanker endorsement which i had a background check done with the federal government, had no issues there but as far as employment,im having severe major issues.I am weeks away from losing my condo, car etc.I think its absolutely absurd that i was not even granted an interview before they made their decision.I hit a major wall,do you know anyone who can help with employment?Thank you for taking the time to read this.Sincerely,Eric in Wallingford.

Just a few more things,i was denied because of the nature of my crime(you would think i killed someone)and because not enough time as elapsed? Are you kidding me?11yrs since ive been out? This baffles me.On another note,i'm reading this blog and i have to say,im a 45 yr old man who is practically in tears reading some of peoples post, some good and some not so good. It's sad how the board of pardons doesnt believe in second chances for some people.
